The resignation of Steve Jobs came as a shock to everybody, be it Jailbreakers, iDevice users and tech bloggers. It triggered heart felt comments and posts about how Steve has changed the world of technology, but one man has taken this even further.
A runner named Joseph Tame has ran a half marathon in the shape of the Apple logo in the name of Steve Jobs, probably the greatest way to pay tribute to the great man. He used two iPhones and his legs to run 21 kilometres (13 miles) in the exact shape of the logo, looking at the app it looks as if he is running through buildings but they may be the fault of the gps tracking feature. The bite in the apple centres around the Imperial Palace which is where the Emperor resides. His heart rate through the 13 miles on average was 155 beats per minute which is just one of the ways he shows his love and dedication to Apple.
Tame says “Having an iPhone really has changed my life here in Tokyo. Here in Japan it’s like a lifeline (even more so now it can warn me when an earthquake is about to hit)
We can only hope that Tim Cook is as dedicated to making Apple succesfull as much as Joseph Tame still is.
