Samsung Mobile Japan's Space Balloon Project will see a Samsung Galaxy S II being sent into space on 15 July. The superphone will be held by a model of an astronaut on a contraption that is tied to a space balloon and launched into the stratoshpere. There will be a live Ustream and tweet messages sent in advance are to be shown during the flight. Sounds pretty cool - a Galaxy phone sent into space :)
